Every time I do a photo shoot, I learn something new. To get better at my shooting I try to think about the shoot and what happened and how I did. My lesson learned recently is to SPEAK UP! I am a low talker. Some would call it mumbling, but I hate that word so I like to say low talker. When I take pictures I have to be aware of how I am speaking and how I am giving direction. When I have a camera and my hands near my face and the people I am directing may be 20 yards away quietly telling them what to do just does not work! So my lesson and a great tip is to speak up and speak loud when giving direction to your models.
Happy shooting – and find the art in every day moments
